About the Author:
Hilary Glow lectures in arts management and cultural policy at Deakin University, Melbourne. She has also taught Theatre Studies at the Victorian College of the Arts School of Drama, and Australian Studies at the University of Melbourne. In 2007 she was an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne s Australian Centre where she also completed her PhD in 2006. Previous to her academic career, she worked for the Australian Film Commission as Manager of the Women s Film Program, and in the Australian theatre sector as an editor and dramaturg. She has been a theatre reviewer and arts commentator across both print and broadcast media.
