About the Author:
Ken Bruen (born 1951) is an Irish writer of hard-boiled and noir crime fiction. His books have been widely translated and adapted for the screen. He lives in Galway.

At times, though, the violence becomes cartoonish, and potential showdowns just do not rock—if you've got Frankenstein and the Wolfman in one castle, they really need to wreck some furniture for a few pages.
