From Library Journal:
The late Griffiths was a Benedictine monk who lived the last 37 years of his life in a Christian ashram in India. He was in his late nineties when he agreed to be interviewed for a television documentary in 1992, a year before his death. Australian film producer Swindells filmed ten hours of original interviews that form the basis of this first-person account of Griffiths's life and work. Among other things, Griffiths reflects upon the cosmic nature of Christ, the status of women in the church, the role of celibacy in holy orders, and the feminine aspects of God: points of view that brought him opposition but also earned the respect of many who would otherwise remain alienated by traditional Christianity. Recommended for most libraries.
