From Library Journal:
Strong, gentle heroines, tough, determined heroes, and many babies populate this quartet of first Christmas historical novellas. They take the reader to realistic settings from New York to Washington and from Canada to Arizona. Highlights include Leigh Greenwood's "Father Christmas," in which an escaped convict goes in search of his dead partner's gold and finds a totally different kind of treasure; and Connie Mason's "A Christmas Miracle," which features a pregnant Irish widow, a desperate father, and a selfish ex-wife (the one story without the flavor of the Old West). Although the stories are all a little rough around the edges and most could have been more emotionally involving, this collection may appeal to readers who enjoy their Christmases with a Western touch.
