From School Library Journal:
Grade 2-4-Up-to-date facts on each country, presented in large type and in a clear and organized manner. The information is limited to two to three sentences per subject; some words or phrases are in bold print and explained later in the glossary. All three books have a good map and a page of "Quick Facts." The full-color photos on every page are well chosen. Overall the series is attractive but somewhat hampered by its brevity. Classical Greece only rates one sentence in Greece; Native Americans in USA are relegated to one caption and one sentence in the section on food. In some cases, having to look words up in the glossary rather than having them explained in the text is annoying. Nevertheless, the material is current and libraries seeking to enhance their easy social studies material could certainly use these titles. Not outstanding, but serviceable.
