"Every mom is a working mom." But never before have circumstances forced so many moms to raise their children single-handedly, which usually includes holding down a paying job in addition to taking care of the home and kids.
Most single mothers work outside the home and contribute to the household's financial well being. However, they still come to single parenting unprepared to tackle the daunting tasks involved in being both the parent and the provider for their families. In this practical and encouraging book, single parent and financial counselor, Brenda Armstrong, shows single mothers how to meet the challenges of the workplace, avoid mistakes, prepare for the effort, develop a plan for the future, and survive with success.
