About the Author:

Barbara J. Essex, an ordained United Church of Christ minister, is Minister for Higher and Theological Education for Parish Life and Leadership, United Church of Christ. She earned her M.Div. from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and M.A. from Northwestern University. She is a bestselling author of The Pilgrim Press, having written eight books, including: Bad Boys of the Bible; Bad Boys of the New Testament; Bad Girls of the Bible; Bible for Vital Congregations; Krazy Kinfolk; Misbehavin Monarchs; and More Bad Girls of the Bible.
