About the Author:
Janice Hitchcock is a Professor and Associate Director for the Department of Nursing in Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, CA.

Dr. Bartfay's career in nursing has spanned over twenty years, and he has practiced and taught nursing in a variety of settings including community health, mental health, medical-surgical nursing and adult critical care. He has taught at a variety of institutions across Canada. Dr. Bartfay has numerous publications and invited keynote and speakers addresses to his credit. He has been nominated for various teaching awards. In addition, Dr. Bartfay is the recipient of various civil awards.
