Each dinosaur describes what it eats in a playful, first-person narrative of 4 to 6 lines. A sidebar for each dinosaur provides factual information, including the pronunciation of the dinosaur's scientific name, when it lived, its size, its food preference, and a few additional bits about its eating habits. The illustrations, however, rendered in watercolor and pencil, dominate the pages.
