From Library Journal:
This volume presents in book form a series of radio programs originally broadcast over the BBC in 1985 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Indonesian proclamation of independence from the Netherlands. The radio format demanded succinct accounts of about five pages of printed text. (Entire books, however, have been written on some of the topics covered in the volume.) Particularly notable, though, are interviews with many prominent leaders connected with the Indonesian Revolution. Their accounts certainly justify purchase for history and political science collections. Donald Clay Johnson, Univ. of Minn. Libs., Minneapolis
