Review:
"Father Scott has an engaging and pastorally sensitive approach to many of the common issues that cause us to stumble on the journey of faith. A great book even if you feel your faith is strong, and to pass on to those you may know who are struggling."
Kris McGregor, Inside the Pages
"(This book) is a spiritual pep talk that is equal parts entertaining and inspiring. The book is ideal for Catholics who have fallen away from their faith or for anyone who needs a spiritual boost."
-Katie Bahr, The Arlington Catholic Herald
"Written in an engaging conversational style with a healthy dash of wit and humor peppered in, When Faith Feels Fragile is Father Hurd's attempt to help people navigate beyond potential roadblocks or speedbumps on their faith journey."
Kenneth J. Souza, The Anchor (official newpaper of the Diocese of Fall River)
When Faith Feels Fragile is a very insightful, interesting and fun book to read. It will also refresh and bring your soul, heart and mind to a stronger faith while getting closer to God. (I)f you want to give your faith a little or even a major tune-up, this is the book to read.
Lou Iacobelli, host of "Family Matters" on Radio Maria Canada
This book is pure gem. It seems like light reading, but I think it's really more like my Grandma's bits of wisdom. They make you chuckle at first, but they stick with you and come back when you need them. I've marked this book up so much that not only can I not lend it out but it's already become an old friend. And if I ever get to meet Fr. Hurd, I shall hug him for having written it.
-Sarah A. Reinhard, blogger, columnist, and author of Catholic Family Fun and four other books
