Gerald O'Collins, SJ, is professor emeritus of theology at the Gregorian University (Rome). An Australian, he was awarded his PhD at Cambridge University; since 1974 has taught at the Gregorian University. He is the author or co-author of 44 books, his last for Paulist Press being Easter Faith.
