The late Roland E. Murphy, OCarm, was George Washington Ivey emeritus professor of biblical studies of Duke University and adjunct at the Washington Theological Union. He was the author of many articles and books, including Responses to 101 Questions on the Psalms and Other Writings and Responses to 101 Questions on the Biblical Torah (both Paulist Press).
