Rosenberry's colorful gouache illustrations are done on Lanaquarelle paper and pleasantly complement the details of the story. Gender roles are portrayed with equality. Dad is busy cooking breakfast and staying home with the baby, while Mom takes the older children to their appointments. A story that's sure to ease the minds of soon-to-be patients and please established Vera fans.
