About the Author:
Rose Clayton, a native of Memphis, met Elvis Presley in 1953 and kept up with him through mutual friends throughout his life. She traveled on Elvis's final tour, and as a correspondent for Billboard and Rolling Stone magazines, covered lawsuits relating to Elvis. Rose wrote and produced the Grammy Award-winning Best Spoken Word album,
