Letters to Our Daughters began almost fifteen years ago, although wee were unaware of it at the time. That was the beginning of our lives as mothers. Throughout the years we have shared many things. The greatest of these, however, is the love and passion we have for our children. We have often marveled at the unconditional love we feel for our daughters, at its depth and intensity unlike any other we have experienced. We began to wonder what other mothers would say about their feelings for their daughters. We began to envision a book that would celebrate the relationship between mother and daughter.
