About the Author:

Lynda Cronin's original career goal was to be a beach bum. Instead, she joined the civil service, working as a Canadian foreign service officer and as the Director of Policy for Tourism Canada. Lynda now runs a private consulting firm specializing in policy and public affairs. Holding on to her wandering spirit, Lynda has travelled extensively through North and Central America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, the South Pacific, India, and Southeast Asia. At 49, she and her husband Peter packed up their house in Victoria, left their jobs behind, and travelled the world for a year.
