About the Author:

Heather-jane Robertson has written widely on educational issues. With Maude Barlow, she is co-author of the best-selling Class Warfare: The Assault on Canada’s Schools. She is director of professional development services for the Canadian Teachers’ Federation, an executive member of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, and a commentator on educational issues frequently consulted by the press and broadcast media.
