On his birthday, the animals on the farm decide to teach him a lesson and give him a stick of dynamite. BOOM. A double-page pop-out explosion shows Grunter whizzing off into space. Problem solvedor almostfor what goes up must come down. The boldly colored illustrations feature plenty of pinks and greens and the clever text layout incorporates varying fonts and sizes for emphasis. Unfortunately, the book is hampered by an ending that shows a strange way of reconciling differences: blowing up the problem. Skip this one.Olga R.
