I was bought this book as a gift from a very dear friend from the Spiritualist Church. This book has made me look at life differently and opend up my eyes. It is a paperback book and was written by the lovely and wonderful Dorothy Chitty. It is full of useful information on the afterlife and the paranormal and I keep going back to re- read parts of it and I would not part with it because it is hghly readable and a treasured gift. In this book the author tells the reader some lovely stories about when she was a little girl and growing up and how she first became aware that she had a special gift from God and how her gift developed as she grew up into an adult. Parts of this book were very emotional for me such as when she was describing her realtionship with Holly Blue, who was a horse who was dying when she was young and how this made her realise that the spirit and the soul go on forever and will not die because of its special energy. We all have this sould and this special energy. The author has some lovely stories about the monk who has been her spirit guide all her life aswell. The monk has helped Dorothy to do some of her own soul searching and how she came to understand that every human being in this world all have the same powers that she has but they do not realise it yet and they do not understand how to make these powers work for them. Dorothy was very lucky because she was born with the knowledge and the power of how to manage her special gifts from God and speak to the dear departed and the restless souls who have not yet moved on to the other plane. I have had pets who have died in my lifetime and I have missed them greatly and this book has told me how I can contact my pets and how I can communicate with them and how I can harness my own spcial powers and meet and understand my own spirit guide because we all have one but most of us just do not realise it.
