About the Author:
Dorothy Nicolle is a Blue Badge Guide qualified to lead tours throughout the 'Heart of England" region, although she concentrates on Shropshire and its adjacent counties. She gives lectures throughout the year and has written more than 25 books on the history of the area. She has an honors degree in British archaeology and history and lives in Wem.
