About the Author:

The author, Patricia Kendell, writes material to help children understand why wildlife is in danger and what they can do to help. She is also a part-time Education Officer with WWF-UK. The consultant, Keith Reid, is a marine biologist at the British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge. He and his team conduct research into the potential effects of fishing and climate change on penguins in the Antarctic.

The real test for any marketing claims laid on classroom resources lies with real classroom practice and exposure to real children.
