Seven naughty little sister stories, written fifty years ago for the BBC's "Listen With Mother" radio program, are told by Jan Francis. Francis's presentation is that of a soft-voiced nanny except when she launches into the baby talk or high-pitched demands of the naughty little sister. Sister's development from no language to complete sentences is a bit startling in this collection, which has no apparent chronology. Younger listeners will not catch the Briticisms; older listeners will be bored by the tame tales since little naughtiness actually occurs. The young sister is simply a cross and pampered child.
