About the Author:
Dean Miller is a retired professor from the University of Toledo. He received his B.S. degree from Wheaton College and his H.S.D. and M.S. degrees from Indiana University. He taught health-related courses for over 35 years.
James H. Price is Professor of Health Promotion in the Department of Health Promotion and Human Performance at the University of Toledo. In addition to his Ph.D. Dr. Price has an M.P.H. degree from the University of Oklahoma, and M.S.and B.S.degrees from Indiana State University. He teaches a wide variety of courses including Community Health, Consumer Health, Human Sexuality, Health Promotion Programs, Research Seminar in Health Education and Issues in Public Health. He is a member of the editorial boards for the AMerican Journal of Health Behavior and the American Journal of Health Studies. He has received many awards including the 1995 Outstanding Researcher Award from the American School Health Association. Dr. Price is member of many organizations and is a founding member of the American Academy of Health Behavior. He is widely published in numerous peer reviewed journals and has written several books.
