I first met Jean Braca while writing a 9/11 article for Calvary Chapel Magazine. From the moment we spoke, I was touched by her tremendous faith, humility, and love for her Lord Jesus Christ. We spent several years working on the book together, and Jeanie had the courage to share honestly her struggles and victories with widowhood and chronic illness, never flagging in her faith and trust in God. It has been an honor to write her story, and I thank the Lord we finished it prior to her departure to join her late and beloved husband, Al Braca.
