"In too many cases, Christians have imported models and concepts of leadership from the secular world. Authentic Christian leadership is deeply doctrinal, inescapably theological, unrelentingly biblical and, by virtue of the Bible’s authority, unavoidably practical." Beginning with that urgent imperative from R. Albert Mohler, Jr., Essential Reading on Leadership calls and guides leaders toward greater faithfulness in their leading. The collection is drawn from Southern Equip, a service of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary that extends faculty training beyond the classroom to equip ministers of the gospel for more faithful service.
