Edward Sokol has always been an artist. At the age of ten he decorated his bedroom wall with palm trees, and his parents liked it! Now, years later, thousands of other people's walls-and three U.S. Embassies are adorned with his colorful exciting paintings.
The artist has had more than one hundred shows of his work, done in a style that has been dubbed "sophisticated primitive." Malcolm Preston has said," The flow and glow of his color, and his obvious joy in handling paint, give his pictures their warmth and charm."
Edward Sokol is currently renovating an old farmhouse in Westchester County, New York. When he's not painting or writing, he's usually found working in the garden.
