Peace is most often thought of as the opposite of war, but in the Bible it carries a meaning that is more encompassing. The biblical view of peace is found in many of the great promises from God. Job complained for 40 chapters in the Book of Job, and then God showed up out of the whirlwind. God never once answered Job about why the righteous suffer, but God did ask Job some questions?questions that demonstrated God?s righteousness. When God paused speaking, Job was so awed that he put his hand over his mouth and said that he would speak no more. The next words that God spoke are very important. These words are the first instructions to Job and therefore to every man. The words are in Job40.7a Dress for action like a man? The Little Book of Peace tells fathers how to dress for action and find peace for himself and his whole family.
