About the Author:
Peter Kay ia a new author and hopes that this book will be an inspiration and a help to others. Even as a child, his second grade teacher once told him that he had a good writing ability. In addition to working full time in a field he loves, Peter is a good cook and enjoys his home life. Travel is minimal right now, but hoping to add much more as time goes on.

"The Owl in the Tree" by Peter Kay. While he shares the stories of his mother's declining health and how she spent her final years in a nursing home. We travel with him through his early days growing up in a neighborhood where everyone looked out for each other, to the devastating times when his dad had a stroke in his fifties and his mother became a caregiver for seventeen years. With each story we see the closeness of the family and we are also allowed to have a glimpse of the love they felt for their mother.
