Ciara Shepard is from Compton/Long Beach California. Ciara possess an Associates Degree in Communications from Cal Poly Pomona and El Camino College. Ciara prior to becoming a book author worked as customer service representative for United Airlines, UCLA Dietary and Administration and radio station KJLH 102.3 F.M.

Greg Shepard is the husband and co-author of Happy Victim. Greg is originally from Buffalo New York who now resides in Los Angeles California. Greg met Ciara at the Fox Hills Mall at the food court. After having sushi for lunch Greg was hooked on Ciara. They have been a love item ever since. Happy Victim is inspired by the love Ciara has for God and her family.
