Barbara Rose Legge was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1943 and currently lives in Edgewater, Florida with her husband, Spencer, a miniature poodle and two cats. Barbara has worked as a secretary in Washington, DC, had her own dog grooming business, entertained children and adults as Cookie the Clown and Nurse Nucklehead. She still maintains a practice as a massage therapist. In 2004, she began performing her stories. She is a member of the Florida Writers Association, Sandcastle Storytellers, and the Florida Storytelling Association.
