The girls wish for all sorts of things from winning the Halloween costume contest to be coming invisible. Tatty, who wishes to become tall, doesn't stop growing, and it takes Miss Know It All to settle the problem. Miss Know It All fans may be somewhat disappointed in this offering as she doesn't appear at all until the next to the last chapter. The rest of the story centers on the girls and the vaga ries of their wishing. The problem of a troublesome wish is satisfactorily re solved in this fast-paced book.
