From AudioFile:
The third child born to the Fitzgerald family is named Tiger. Always restless, she leaves her home, Neill's Court, one of the great houses of western Ireland when she is 18 to live an artist's life in Paris. The major sound of the novel is the lilt of Ireland, but Sophie Ward manages some good French flavor in her reading, as well. She treats all of the characters with respect and creates a vivid picture of their habitats. However, her doleful Irish accent lacks the joy that would make hearing this story more of a pleasure.
