Grade 6-9 How the many electronic media are linked together in an ever-expanding network and their significance in homes, offices, industry, hospitalsin fact, in our total environmentis described in clear, understandable language. The fact that information is now a commodity, and how it works, is explained. Each page has a minimum of print. The color diagrams, charts, and photographs with detailed captions enlarge upon and further elucidate the written material. Many of the examples in the text as well as the ``date chart'' reflect the British origin of this book, but these references are not an impediment. Sullivan's New World of Communications (Dodd, 1969; o.p.), for older readers, is outdated.
