Crisp, clear, and plentiful, they retell each year's series. These photographs more than compensate for the short and merely adequate historical account of the series. For narrative and statistics, Glenn Dickey's The History of the World Series Since 1903 (Stein & Day, 1984) is a better choice, but for a pictorial history of the Series, Honig's book is a clear winner.
