About the Author:

From Library Journal:
Before he even gets to the saloon, the entire town of Paradise knows that a dangerous gunslinger has ridden into town. What they don't know is why the man, who calls himself Gault, is there?or who has hired him. However, intrepid Cady McGill, the no-nonsense saloon owner, doesn't care. There's more to Gault than meets the eye, and Cady is just the person to figure it out. An enigmatic, slightly schizoid hero who makes his living off of guilty people, an independent heroine who takes nothing for granted, and a rather off-beat plot add interest to this lively, exceptionally well-written romance. Gaffney (Wild at Heart, Topaz, 1997), a Romance Writers of America (RWA) Golden Heart winner, lives in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.
