Carolyn Ives Gilman has been publishing fantasy and science fiction stories for 10 years in numerous magazines and anthologies including The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Universe, Interzone, Realms of Fantasy, Full Spectrum, and most recently, Bending the Landscape. She was a finalist for the Nebula Award in the novelette category in 1992. She lives in St. Louis where she works as a museum exhibition developer.
