It is tranfparent, but depofits a yellow fediment after ftanding a few hours in the open air. When it is put up in bottles, and well corked, it will retain its mi neral virtues for many months. It has a ferruginous talle, which is not difagreeable. Its fpecific gravity is cxaetly the fame as that of rain water.
