Experiments with nicotine sprays were continued last summer by Mr. A. L. Stearns of New Jersey and by Dr. 'philip Garman of Connecticut verifying the results that have been obtained in previous years, namely, that spraying with nicotine may reduce infestation from 11 to 15 per cent. While such. Sprays, are costly they can be made at a saving to the peach grower.
