Graffman practices her new found wiles on 14-year-old Hobie Katz. Meanwhile, Hobie is besotted by blond-haired Darlene DeVries who innately knows how to bother the opposite sex. Unfortunately for Hobie, Darlene has set her sites on basketball star Warren Adler. Darlene even uses the poems Hobie writes for her to woo Warren. G. G. writes off Hobie and switches her attention to his best friend.
