About the Author:
Stella Duffy is the author of seven previous novels and is the coeditor of the anthology Tart Noir, to which she contributed an award-winning short story. In addition to her novels, she has published short stories and feature articles in a variety of publications. An accomplished actor, she also writes for radio and theater. Raised in New Zealand, Duffy lives in London with her partner, playwright Shelley Silas. State of Happiness was longlisted for Britain's prestigious Orange Prize.
