About the Author:
If Ginger Sinsabaugh can survive urban youth ministry, anyone can. Not letting her lack of rhythm or small town roots stop her, Ginger got involved in urban ministry in the early eighties when she moved to Chicago for a job in advertising. Though writing jingles paid the rent, Ginger knew that there was more to life than Snap! Crackle! Pop! So in 1996, she cut back her advertising hours to devote more time to urban ministry and create ministry materials with an "urban flavor". Currently, Ginger works with SLAM! (saving lives in athletic ministry), which works hand in hand with Moody Bible Institute to reach teens in Chicago’s Cabrini Green Project as well as other high risk neighborhoods. Ginger and her husband, Jeff, live near Chicago’s Wrigley Field, where they enjoy discovering new forms of candy.
