There are gilt borders to the sides and gilt page edges all round. There are bright gilt dentelles and tan endpapers featuring the heraldic Wellington coat of arms. This copy is bright, tight, white and square. A dustwrapper is not called for. This beautiful binding is thought to be one of a small number of author presentation copies, although there is no mention of this on the limitation page.
