About the Author:
Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906 - 1945) was a German Lutheran pastor, theologian and martyr. He was also a founding member of the Confessing Church and was active in the German resistance movement against Nazism. Stephen Plant is Dean of Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
