Marian Babson is a mystery writer and the author of more than forty novels in the traditional amateur-sleuth style, "murder most British." In 1996 she was awarded the Crime Writers' Association Dagger in the library category for her body of work. She was born in Salem, Massachusetts, but has lived in London for the greater part of her life. Her many interests--theater, cinema, art, cooking, travel, and cats--are reflected in her numerous novels.
