Donald's cuddly solution rings as true as Rabbit's nighttime ritual, and his unflappable good humor will be envied by parents and children alike. Scriven's warm and colorful illustrations, aglow with gold tones, reiterate the loving relationship between boy and pet. Wistful Rabbit's mischief is never very bad, and Donald's efforts up and down the stairs look monumental. The illustrations, all of which bleed into the page, vary in shape and size, adding visual interest.
