HELEN LESTER is Reader in Primary Care in the Department of Primary Care at the University of Birmingham, UK, and an inner city doctor. Her main research interests are primary care mental health, health inequalities and user involvement.
JON GLASBY is Head of Health and Social Care Partnerships and a senior lecturer at the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham, UK. A qualfied social worker, he is also a board member of the Social Care Institute for Excellence and the Centre for Advancement of Interprofessional Education.
