About the Author:
H. Andrew Michener received a B.A. in sociology and economics from Yale University and a Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Michigan. He served for many years as Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin--Madison, and he has published numerous experimental studies of n-person games, group decision-making, coalition formation, bilateral negotiation, and interpersonal influence. He serves currently as Managing Director of Vantage Analytics, where he is engaged in the formulation and testing of trading systems for the equities and derivatives markets. Dr. Michener is a member of the American Sociological Association, the American Statistical Association, and the Society of Experimental Social Psychology.
