About the Author:

Albert French served in the U.S. Marines as an infantryman during the Vietnam War. After the service, he taught himself photography and worked as a medical photographer and a photojournalist. The author of Billy, I Can't Wait on God, and the memoir Patches of Fire: A Story of War and Remembrance, French lives in Pittsburgh.
