Spanning conditions from AIDS to yeast infections, the 92 remedies are presented in short, folksy, often anecdotal fashion culled from health and medical works listed in the book's extensive bibliography. Wilen and Wilen are the authors of popular alternative-healing books, with no stated qualifications. Many remedies are unattributed and some questionable, but caveats and suggestions to seek professional care abound.
